——Lost adventurer

Description

This crown appears to be made out of an obsidian infused metal, with a large, circular red lens at the center. When a wearer filters a small portion of their mental energy into the crown, the lens darkens and the wearer's eyes then take on a red hue.

Lore

The Crown of Darkvision does not have much of a history to follow it. It came down to a matter of practicality. Adventurers needed a way to see in the dark caves and dungeons that they so often frequented, so they created one with some magical aid. Once the item was first created, its manufacturing became widespread rather quickly.
